In this post we look at perhaps one of the most representative football refereeing errors. The England World Cup was the first to be televised live to almost everyone. The final between Germany and the host will always be remembered by favoritism that was in favor of England.

England beat Germany by four out two in overtime. But the English third goal should not upload to the marker, because the ball fired by Geoffrey Hurst hit the crossbar and bounced out of the goal defended by Tilkowski. In images of that quote is the Soviet line Bakhramov, raising his flag to signal the goal and the Swiss referee Dienst dialogue with the linesman to validate it.

Bakhramov affirm years later: «I saw not get the ball, but Dienst downloaded onto my back all responsibility.

It was a grave error that gave the Cup to England. Their only victory in a World Cup today.

En esta entrada repasamos quizá uno de los errores arbitrales más representativos del fútbol. El mundial de Inglaterra fue el primero en ser televisado en directo para casi todo el mundo. La final entre Alemania y la anfitriona será recordada siempre por el favoritismo que se tuvo a favor de Inglaterra.

Inglaterra se impuso a Alemania por a cuatro a dos en la prórroga. Pero el tercer gol Inglés no debió subir al marcador, ya que la pelota disparada por Geoffrey Hurst pegó en el larguero y rebotó fuera de la portería defendida por Tilkowski. En imágenes de aquella cita se ve al línea soviético Bakhramov, levantando su banderín para señalar el gol y al colegiado suizo Dienst dialogando con el linier para convalidarlo.

Bakhramov afirmaría años más tarde: «No vi entrar la pelota, pero Dienst descargó sobre mi espalda toda la responsabilidad.

Fue un gravísimo error que dio la Copa a Inglaterra. Su única victoria en un Mundial hasta hoy.

World Cup 2010 South Africa, highlighted by the vuvuzelas, the reign of Spanish football and controversy.

With the score 2-1 in favor of the Germans, Lampard shot out of the area a monumental header, furiously hit the crossbar and bounced the ball into the goal to then get out of it. The referee let play continue declaring that the ball had not completely gone. This goal would have been the tie to 2 goal.

To conclude, the outcome of the game was 4-1 in favor of Germany. Although semifinals were defeated by Spain, depriving them of playing the final of the world.

Obviously, this match and this not goal, reopened the debate on the implementation of new technologies in current soccer.

Fallos Históricos – Sudáfrica 2010

Para los despistados, hacemos referencia al gol fantasma ocurrido en el partido que enfrentaba a Alemania contra Inglaterra.

Con 2-1 en el marcador a favor de los Germanos, Lampard disparó fuera del área un testarazo monumental, que golpeó con furia al larguero e hizo botar el balón dentro de la portería para posteriormente, salirse de ella. El arbitro dejó continuar la jugada declarando que la pelota no había entrado completamente. Este gol habría supuesto el empate a 2 en el marcador.

Cabe destacar que el resultado final del partido fue de 4-1 a favor de Alemania. Aunque en semifinales cayeron derrotados por España, privándoles de jugar la gran final del mundial.

Evidentemente, este partido y este no gol, reabrió firmemente el debate sobre la implementación de las nuevas tecnologías en el fútbol actual.
